Commissioned by Donia Gomaa and conceptualized by Turki Al-Sheikh, Sunbati Tribute Night was created to honor the legacy of the late Egyptian composer Riad Al Sunbati. Held at Abu Bakr Salem Stage in Riyadh by Benchmark, the event celebrated a timeless voice in Arabic music through a contemporary lens.

LO2S led the creative direction, overseeing stage and set design, content development, lighting design, and full execution. With only five days from concept to delivery, the process demanded swift creative decisions and immediate technical translation. The scenography drew inspiration from the original Hollywood Bowl, built in 1922, reimagining its iconic arc structure with a modernized silhouette that echoed Sunbati’s enduring influence.

The concert was conducted by the esteemed maestro Hani Farhat and featured performances by some of the most prominent stars of the Arab world, including Sherine Abdel Wahab, Saber Al Rubai, Ahmed Saad, Mai Farouk, Fouad Zbadi, Reham Abdel Hakim, and Iman Abdel Ghani. This assembly of talent paid tribute to Sunbati’s legacy, offering the audience an evening of profound musical and visual experiences.

On September 19, 2024, we collaborated with Free Jabriya at Kuwait Arena to bring a fresh AV experience to the legendary Kuwaiti band Miami. This production reimagined their nostalgic classics with a modern visual narrative, designing a unique theme for each song, transforming the stage into a different world with every performance.

The show ran for five sold-out nights, with the audience singing along to every word, reinforcing Miami’s lasting impact on the region’s music scene. Free Jabriya, a fast-growing event producer, continues to push forward new experiences, and we’re always glad to be part of their vision.
